EA is partnering with Sony Pictures Entertainment, to bring a Zero Dark Thirty map pack to Medal of Honor Warfighter. The DLC will include two multiplayer maps, the Darra Gun Market, and Chitral, inspired by real world locations.

The map pack will be available the week of December 17, in conjunction with the theatrical release of Zero Dark Thirty, for $9.99. EA will donate at least $1 million of the proceeds from the DLC map pack to the Project HONOR campaign, a program created to drive charitable contributions to nonprofit veterans organizations.

“Working with Project HONOR is a meaningful way for us to continue our support for combat veterans throughout the armed services,” said Mark Boal, writer-producer of Zero Dark Thirty. “We are thrilled to be a part of this effort, and we’re humbled that EA is stepping up to the plate with such a significant contribution.”

The Medal of Honor Warfighter Limited Edition includes the Medal of Honor Warfighter Zero Dark Thirty Map Pack in North America and Medal of Honor Warfighter The Hunt Map Pack in Europe at no extra charge. Players that pre-order Medal of Honor Warfighter before the game launches on October 23 are ensured a copy of the Limited Edition. Conditions and restrictions apply. See

Zero Dark Thirty is a feature film directed by Academy Award winner Kathryn Bigelow, and is scheduled to be released on December 19, 2012. The film chronicles the hunt for al-Qaeda terrorist leader Osama bin Laden and his demise at the hands of Seal Team Six.
