Update:

The new Xbox One S will arrive in August with a SRP of $299. Boom!

Xbox One Slim

Images have surfaced for Microsoft’s new Xbox One Slim model just a day before the company’s scheduled press conference tomorrow at E3 2016 in Los Angeles, CA. The images first appeared on NeoGAF and were almost immediately thrown up on Kotaku, the same site that broke the news last month for the new slim model.

The console will be 40% smaller than the original Xbox One and includes a 2TB hard drive, a vertical stand, and will support 4K video.

Still no word on the the release date or price point, but I’m sure we can expect to hear that news tomorrow during Microsoft’s formal announcement. Keep in mind Microsoft is hard at work in developing an even more powerful console code-named Scorpio to be released sometime in 2017.
