Xbox One March Update

Late last night Microsoft began to roll out the Xbox One March Update. The new update includes many great new features including screenshots, suggested friends, sharing your real name, improved party chat, and tile transparency. As per the usual, Xbox Live’s Major Nelson posted a video giving a detailed explanation on how to access and use the new features.

In order to take screenshot, simply double tap the Xbox Button on your controller and then press the Y button to save it. Those of you with a Kinect can say “Xbox, take a screenshot.” Of course after taking several screenshots you’ll want to manage them, which can be done using the Upload app. Here you’ll also be able to set your images as your background or share them with your friends via social media like Twitter or your activity feed.

Yesterday Microsoft also announced an Xbox One Halo: The Master Chief Collection Bundle to arrive in stores later this month. The $350 bundle includes a Kinectless Xbox One console, wireless controller, headset, 14-day Xbox Live Gold trial, and a voucher to download Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

Download the Xbox One March Update and watch the video to get the most out of your big shiny black box. A quick side note–I took a screenshot last night while playing Rayman Legends and it took all of 30 seconds set the image as my background and share it on Twitter.
