X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST First Look at Sentinels From Comic Con

Posted on July 19, 2013 at 4:50 pm by David "Snackbar" Edmundson

San Diego Comic Con is littered with great panels, merchandise, and first-looks at footage from film and TV, and the area surrounding the convention also showcases a litany of more subtle teases for upcoming  properties. It’s the worst kept secret at the convention that one of Fox’s “mystery” films set to appear during the studio’s Hall H panel on Saturday will be X-Men: Days of Future Past, and the presence of the antagonistic Sentinels on the streets of San Diego all but confirms its spot. Earlier today, a booth was set up just outside the convention center that boasts the Trask Industries logo and offers a glimpse at the head of the mechanistic Sentinels, as Trask Industries asks con-goers to “celebrate 50 years of human progress.” The Sentinels are, of course, giant robots whose sole purpose is to hunt and kill mutants.

The villainous Trask will be played by Peter Dinklage in the film, but we should have much more info on X-Men: Days of Future Past to report after the panel on Saturday.

A viral site for the film has also been activated over at, but as of now it’s very minimal.
