Warner Bros. Partners With Paramount for Upcoming Nolan Film

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. made an interesting deal to partner up with Paramount’s upcoming sci-fi film, Interstellar, directed by Christopher Nolan. The price of admission included the rights to Friday the 13th, and WB’s portion of a future South Park movie. Additionally, there is an agreement to let Paramount co-finance a to-be-determined A-list WB property. THR also mentions both studios have declined to comment on the deal.

Geek Legacy is happy with this arrangement, because it means more Friday the 13th films are in the works. Possibly a sequel to the 2009 reboot from Platinum Dunes, which starred Jared Padalecki (Supernatural). We do love horrible horror movies. Even that is fun to say. I probably shouldn’t tell you I actually enjoyed the reboot. Man this hole is getting deep.
