Up Close Look at the Millennium Falcon from STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is less than a year away, but us Star Wars fans never let go of the past.  The triumphant shot of the first trailer wasn’t a new character, but the return of the Millennium Falcon.  The famous spacecraft graces the cover of the new issue of Fortune magazine along with Disney CEO Bob Iger.  Although fans got some nice shots of the Falcon (like the one above) along with an extreme close-up from some video back in September (which was part of the fun back-and-forth between Star Wars director J.J. Abrams and Batman v Superman director Zack Snyder), this is the first full close-up of the Millennium Falcon and it looks like…the Millennium Falcon.

The film opens December 18, 2015, and stars John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie, Crystal Clarke, Pip Andersen, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker.
