Until Dawn Announcement Trailer

Until Dawn

The Until Dawn announcement trailer takes Gamescom for a gruesome ride through a mountain retreat. The third-person survival horror game is being developed by a SUPERMASSIVE GAMES Production, with a released date yet to be determined.

The game lets players take control of eight characters and unfortunately for some, choice matters. The player’s decisions will have a direct impact on who will survive. Branching story lines will help ensure that no two experiences will be the same. Are you the type of person to save your friends or yourself? I guess you’ll find out…

Until Dawn is powered by an “evolved Killzone: Shadow Fall engine.” When the dying starts we’ll get to see how good blood, guts, and gore translate on the power of the PS4.

I’m trying to remember back a few years ago when the game was first announced on PS3. I’m pretty sure the PlayStation Move was involved in some way. Perhaps it was used as a flashlight or something, but I honestly don’t remember. Can you imagine playing a game like this using the Oculus Rift? You’re running from a madman that wants to kill you and your friends in an immersive VR experience… Pass.
