Uncharted 4 Delayed Until 2016

The release of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has been pushed back to Spring 2016. According to the directors of the game, the project, “…is much more ambitious than we originally planned.”

Directors Bruce Straley and Neil Druckmann wrote on the PlayStation Blog that this decision was not an easy one for them to make, but it was necessary. They continue to mention that Nathan Drake’s last hurrah deserves, “every bit of the attention to detail, precise pacing, and nuanced storytelling Naughty Dog is known for.”

The reasoning behind delaying the game makes complete sense and I don’t think too many people will complain about it. The Uncharted games are among the best on the PlayStation 3 and there is no reason to expect Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End won’t follow suit.

In the meantime, you can relive the gameplay video from the 2014 PlayStation Experience to tide you over. How do you all feel about this delay? Sound off in the comments below.
