20th Century Fox has released a new UK trailer for director Matthew Vaughn’s (X-Men: First Class) adaptation of the Mark Millar graphic novel Kingsman: The Secret Service.  The story revolves around a secret spy organization called Kingsman, in which Colin Firth’s veteran spy works to recruit and train an unrefined but promising street kid (Taron Egerton).  It’s been clear from the first trailer that Vaughn is making a sort of riff on the typical James Bond movie with this picture (complete with eccentric villain played by Samuel L. Jackson), and this new trailer has plenty of references not only to Bond but the spy genre as a whole.  I’ve never not had fun with one of Vaughn’s films, and Kingsman looks to be an absolute blast.

The film also stars Michael Caine, Mark Strong, Jack Davenport, and Mark Hamill.  Kingsman: The Secret Service opens in the UK on January 29, 2015 and in the US on February 13, 2015.

Here’s the official synopsis for Kingsman: The Secret Service:

Based upon the acclaimed comic book and directed by Matthew Vaughn (Kick Ass, X-Men First Class), Kingsman: The Secret Service tells the story of a super-secret spy organization that recruits an unrefined but promising street kid into the agency’s ultra-competitive training program just as a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius.
