Posted on July 6, 2016 at 4:35 am by Tyler Waterman

Welcome to Tyler’s Comic Corner, where I highlight the majority of this week’s new comic releases. My highlights include mainstream and indie titles, ensuring your pull list won’t be deprived of one of this week’s gems. My apologies if your favorite isn’t listed, but good news; you clearly already knew it was coming!

Vote Loki #2

Perfect Pulls: I know it’s still early in the event, but I’m going to go ahead and award Civil War II: X-Men as the worst tie-in to Civil War II. If you’re on the fence about this one, you can get off of it. However, I will admit I’m pretty excited for Civil War II: Kingpin, if only because I love that rolly-polly bastard. Throw in new issues of great books like Spidey, Sam Wilson and Invincible Iron Man and I can forgive them one lousy tie-in!

There’s new issues of guaranteed hits like Green Arrow and Superman, along with the latest Batman. (I can only hope this issue makes me more excited than the first… in Tom King I trust!) Oh Rebirth… let’s never part again.

Needless to say, I’m very, very excited that they’re combining the two together today! Also this week, don’t miss out on the latest chapter in Valiant’s 4001 A.D. event, and Dark Horse’s The Bounty looks to be a must-have for intergalactic badassery fans!
