Twitch Reports Unauthorized Access to User Accounts

Earlier today released a statement on their blog to all users that there may have been unauthorized access to account information. Sadly, this information includes account usernames, your email address, password, first and last name, phone number, address, and date of birth. Going forward, Twitch expired all passwords, stream keys, and disconnected accounts from Twitter and YouTube.

Users will notice when they log in to their Twitch account they will be forced to reset their password and reconnect all social media to their user account. Of course this process won’t take you very long to complete and should probably get a jump on it sooner rather than later. Especially if you received an email like the one posted below:
