TRON LEGACY sequel moving forward

Posted on December 6, 2012 at 10:40 am by David "Snackbar" Edmundson

The sequel to 2010’s TRON Legacy appears to be back on track. After months of inactivity, Disney Studio head Alan Horn declared that the sequel was a priority for Disney. Jesse Wigutow has been tapped to pen the latest draft as development moves forward “with a renewed urgency”. TRON Legacy helmer Joseph Kosinski is slated to return for the sequel. No production timeframe has been outlined, but the project seems to be picking up steam after months of dormancy. Original writers Edward Kitnis and Adam Horowitz stepped down to a producer role on the project to focus on Once Upon a Time for ABC the show they created and currently run.

Sounds encouraging. Were you a fan of the original?
