Transistor Launch Trailer

Until recently, Supergiant Games, the studio that brought you Bastion, has remained relatively hush-hush about Transistor, their upcoming sci-fi action-rpg, set to release on PS4 and PC on May 20. Last Friday, Greg Kasavin, creative director at Supergiant Games, revealed some interesting aspects to the game, including Recursion mode, which is unlocked upon completing Transistor’s story.

Recursion mode gives players the option to replay the story retaining your current level of progression, as well as Transistor functions which have already been unlocked. Additionally, the “composition of enemy forces you’ll encounter will be different — and it’ll be different just about every time you play.”

Check out the Transistor Launch trailer below and try to pay attention to the music. The game’s soundtrack is also available on Steam for $9.99 and features over 60 minutes of music. If physical copies are more your cup of tea then you can order the cd directly from Supergiant Games.
