THE AMAZING SPIDERMAN deleted scenes reveals more about Peter’s origin

Posted on October 15, 2012 at 12:33 pm by David "Snackbar" Edmundson

There was a lot of footage in the trailers for The Amazing Spider-Man that didn’t seem to make it into the film itself.  Today a series of deleted scenes surfaced that seem to tell more of the story of why Peter Parker became Spider-Man.  The scenes hint at something already inside Peter Parker, and seem to mimic the calssic Ang Lee Hulk parable about father’s experimenting on their kids, and setting something into motion that just needs to be triggered at the right time.  With all of the cast set to return for a sequel, it is hard to say whether we will get a more fleshed out origin for Peter or if the deleted scenes will have to suffice.  Either way the film was an entertaining jaunt, that washed some of the bad taste of Spiderman 3 out of my mouth.  Check out the deleted scenes below.

The Amazing Spider-Man hits stores on November 9th.
