Anime is a unique and special form of art, and 80’s anime is even more… special. It features generic characters, whiny protagonists, and outrageously over the top action. Having said that, I am surprised that there has never been a mashup of 80’s style animation and the iconic masterpiece Star Wars.  Thankfully, Nacho Punch has risen to the task, and taken the original trilogy into the world of giant robots and action lines.  There’s also a particular transformation that got a big laugh out of me.

Check out Nacho Punch’s YouTube channel for more of their videos.
