Titanfall 2

Today live from the Novo theater in Los Angeles, EA announced Titanfall 2 will launch for Xbox One, PC, and PS4 on October 28, 2016. Despite having fluid gameplay mechanics and incredible action, developer Respawn Entertainment received harsh criticism for not including a single player campaign in the first Titanfall, which released back in March 2014.

“With the original Titanfall, we focused on nailing the gameplay and reinventing the way you move and fight in a first person shooter,” said Vince Zampella, CEO of Respawn Entertainment and a Co-Creator of the Call of Duty franchise. “With Titanfall 2, we’re building on that foundation by introducing a bespoke single player campaign backed by a deeper multiplayer experience that together will once again push the shooter genre forward.”

In Titanfall 2 players take on the role of Militia rifleman Jack Cooper who teams up with a veteran Titan to uphold a mission they were never meant to carry out. Hopefully, this new campaign mode will silence the naysayers and give this franchise the attention it deserves.

Check out our video review of Titanfall and see why we gave this game a Legacy Score of 9/10. After all, it’s impossible to fight the feeling of jubilation after trouncing your enemies on the battlefield whilst piloting a Titan.
