Splinter Cell Wii U

Splinter Cell: Blacklist on Wii U will not have an offline co-op mode. In an interview with Nintendo Life, the game’s producer Liu Jun explained that time was a factor behind the missing feature.

“In order to ship at the same time as the other consoles, we unfortunately weren’t able to delve into this feature,” he said. “But we think Nintendo gamers will be really excited to get the game at the same time as other consoles.”

Does this missing feature effect your buying decision? Just last week we learned the Wii U version of Batman: Arkham Origins would be missing out on a multiplayer feature as well. It’s also worth noting Injustice: Gods Among Us on Wii U is always last to receive characters and skins via DLC. Hopefully, Wii U owners are a patient and carefree bunch of gamers.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist puts Sam Fisher and his Fourth Echelon team against a ruthless terrorist group known as the Engineers. The clock is ticking and it’s up to you to stop a series of global attacks before the timer hits zero. Think you have what it takes to save the world? I guess we’ll find out on August 20, when Splinter Cell: Blacklist arrives on PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC.
