There aren’t many superheroes that I haven’t at some point in my life thought were cool, but the Fantastic Four are an exception to that rule. There’s just something about the FF that doesn’t do it for me. Though Hickman’s Future Foundation was enjoyable, I found myself enamored with everyone who wasn’t a member of the Fantastic Four, further proof that I would never like this team.
However, the FF are getting the All-New Marvel NOW reboot treatment, and as much as it pains me to admit it, I’m likely going to give it a shot. James Robinson is one of my all-time favorite comic writers, and as you can tell in the preview below, Leonard Kirk’s art in this book might just be too good to ignore.
Also, the new costumes are pretty great, and I’m a sucker for great costumes!
Whether you love of hate Marvel’s first family, you just might want to check out the latest iteration of Fantastic Four. Issue #2 will hit stands March 12th.
