SHARKNADO 2: THE SECOND ONE Cast Revealed, Promises the Acting Will NOT Improve

If you missed the Twitter-sensation that was Sharknado, you missed the best ending to any film EVER.  The rest of the film was filled with awful special effects and equally laughable acting in a campy “so bad it’s good” natural disaster flick that found thousands of sharks flung into a flooded Los Angeles.  Original stars Ian Ziering and Tara Reid return to combat the farcical force of nature in Sharknado 2: The Second One, which will also star: Vivica A. Fox as Fin’s (Ziering) old high school friend, Skye; Mark McGrath as Fin’s brother-in-law; Kelly Osbourne as a flight attendant;  Andy Dick as a police officer; Judah Friedlander as Brian, and poor Judd Hirsch as the taxi driver, of course.  Production begins next week as the Sharknado preps to hit New York City.  Look for the sequel sometime this July.  (Via Deadline)

For your benefit, I added the ending of Sharknado in case you missed it. It is worth the 2 minutes if you haven’t seen it. A little set up though so you can take it seriously. Fin’s (Ziering) girl-pal was eaten by a shark 4 minutes earlier, and he had just driven an SUV packed with explosives into a tornado of sharks.  You know, that old chestnut.

What do you think about the cast? It’s nice to see two members of Independence Day reunite, right… right?
