Xbox One X

Microsoft kicked off their E3 2017 briefing today in Los Angeles showcasing what they referred to as the “world’s most powerful console,” fittingly named the Xbox One X. Formally known as “Project Scorpio”, the newest model features a 1TB hard drive, HDR visuals, 4K UHD Blu-ray/DVD playback, 12GB GDDRS memory, and 326 GB/s memory bandwidth. Oh and let’s not forget all this power will be bundled into the the smallest Xbox system ever built and available worldwide on November 7, 2017.

Additional Specs:

  • Centrifugal Fan: A supercharger-style design which rapidly pulls in and compresses air, Project Scorpio’s Centrifugal Fan is crafted to deliver maximum cooling with minimum noise.
  • Vapor Chamber: A first for home consoles, Project Scorpio’s Vapor Chamber uses advanced liquid cooling to help ensure the Scorpio Engine stays cool.
  • Scorpio Engine: With 6 TFLOPS, 326GB/s of memory bandwidth and advanced, custom silicon, the Scorpio Engine is the most powerful console gaming processor ever created.
  • Hovis Method: To maximize performance and minimize power consumption, Project Scorpio uses the Hovis Method, a cutting edge digital power delivery system to custom tune console voltage.

Lastly, the Xbox One X is 100% compatible with everything on Xbox One. That means all your games (which will run better on Xbox One X) and accessories will work on the new powerhouse console without the need of some silly adapter.
