Scarefest 7: A Night To Remember

That saying “Do what you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life.” (though horrendously annoying at the day job) really means something when the fine folks who maintain this site you read send me to conventions such as Scarefest.

Scarefest is the biggest horror AND paranormal convention in the country, but somehow they manage to make it look so damn easy. From the word “Go ” everything moved smoothly. I got to snap photos of the celebrities, watch everyone set up their amazing booths and even schedule my day accordingly thanks to their on the nose planning.

Scarefest is quite an experience mixing horror movie stars and having personalities who investigate real hauntings. Whether you believe in hauntings or are just a fan of the strange I highly recommend making the trip to Kentucky this weekend to check out the rest of the show. Tickets don’t sell out (this place is HUGE) and they’re only $25 bucks a day, plus an addition $5 if you want to see the film festival. So c’mon down and come say hi if you see me!

Before I run of to buy more kooky flicks and art for my collection I want to personally thank Nic Brown of Scarefest who has been nothing but nice and helpful since I got here. He even invited all of us back for next year! Thanks Nic!
