S.H.A.R.P. Stick Rifle For Aliens: Colonial Marines on Steam

Aliens: Colonial Marines launches in just a few short weeks and is now available to pre-order on Steam. Those of you that take advantage of the $50 Steam offer will also receive the S.H.A.R.P. Stick that Hudson himself loves to boast about. That’s right folks, you will harness the power of the sonic-harpoon artillery remote projectile (S.H.A.R.P.) rifle. This beast fires time-delayed, explosive-tipped darts that embeds into enemies or terrain. Sounds pretty bad ass to us.

We have had the pleasure of playing Aliens: Colonial Marines a couple times last year. Geek Legacy got to face off against the game developers at E3 last summer and again at PAX in September. We actually won at E3, but they got their revenge in the new Survival Mode at PAX. We got pretty far but ran out of ammo and met a gruesome death. On both occasions the shotgun was our weapon of choice for destroying those Xenomorph bastards. However, the S.H.A.R.P. might become our new best friend.

Aliens: Colonial Marines is rated M for Mature and will be available for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 on February 12, 2013. Wii U owners will eventually get a chance to play but no word yet on a scheduled release date.

“That’s it man, game over man, game over!” -Hudson
