Resident Evil Remastered

Today Capcom announced its recently released Resident Evil (January 20) has become their fastest selling digital title in history. Additionally, the game broke the record for the biggest selling day one digital title on the PlayStation Network. That’ll do, Capcom. That’ll do.

Capcom’s Producer on the title, Yoshiaki Hirabyashi, commented It’s been great to see so many positive comments from fans that have enjoyed this new release. The team here at Capcom Japan have worked hard to bring the game to the latest generation of consoles and we are thrilled at this news on its performance.

The PlayStation Blog released the January top-sellers from the PlayStation Store and Resident Evil sits at the top for both PS3 and PS4 consoles. Be sure to take advantage of the Resident Evil Sale on the PSN before it ends tomorrow! You can score classic zombie action for dirt cheap, but it’s worth noting the recently released Resident Evil is missing from the sale. Still, $20 won’t break the bank.
