Non-Stop to Comic-Con

GeekFest Film Fest is the world’s first and only traveling geek film festival, exhibiting the best geek content from around the world at pop culture conventions around the United States. This year the tour begins at the Atlantic City Boardwalk Con May 14th through 17th. One of the big attractions will be the world premiere of Non-Stop to Comic-Con (Directed by Randy Van Dyke and David Edmundson) at 3:00pm on Saturday May 16th. All the films traveling with GeekFest are free to watch for convention attendees, so if you are planning on going to the convention, you owe it to yourself to stop by the screening room to check it out!

Non-Stop to Comic-Con is billed as a Geek Odyssey that follows three “geeks” (Adam Young, Chris Teregis, and Zach Reino) on a pilgrimage to the Mecca of Geek-dom: San Diego Comic-Con. Their paths are obstructed by anti-geek religious zealots, a malfunctioning plane, an overwound co-pilot, and a first-class section ripe with porn stars. This trailer serves as a crash course (no pun intended) on the film’s plot and highly diverse cast.

The film also stars Nicole Erb, Kate Murdoch, Will McLaughlin, Katy Dore, Natalie Neuman, Mindy Robinson, Nina Kate, and Jennifer Irene Gonzalez. Non-Stop to Comic-Con will be available soon on VOD and Blu-ray.

Official Synopsis for Non-Stop to Comic-Con;

Lewis is a self-admitted geek, and never quite felt like he fit in. Outcast all his life, he and his small circle of friends would prefer socializing online, playing video games, or going to midnight movie screenings than engage in socially deemed “normal” activities. This ragtag bunch of misfits has long dreamt of making the pilgrimage to the pinnacle of all things geek: San Diego Comic-Con. This year they’re finally going to make it happen, but it’s not going to be easy. They are going to face crazy exes, a trigger-happy pilot with PTSD, a cult of anti-geek religious activists, and a whole first class section full of porn stars, all while on a malfunctioning plane that will crash if they don’t overcome their differences and work together to survive.
