A number of new TV spots were released this weekend, heralding the opening of Hercules in theaters this weekend. The “revisionist take” on the classic myth takes place after Hercules’ famous twelve labors, as we find him “traveling with a group of mercenaries and cashing in on his famous name until he’s hired to train an army for an epic battle.”

Here’s the official synopsis for Hercules:

Paramount Pictures and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures’ film HERCULES, starring Dwayne Johnson, bows on July 25th. Based on Radical Comics’ Hercules by Steve Moore, this ensemble-action film is a revisionist take on the classic myth, HERCULES. The epic action film also stars Golden Globe Winner Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, Joseph Fiennes, Peter Mullan and Academy Award®-nominee John Hurt.

Hercules is available to watch in theaters in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D.
