New STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS International Trailer Has Oodles of New Footage

Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits most theaters for midnight screenings on December 18th. It’s now December 10th, a little after 10 a.m. Which means we are a hair over a week until new Star Wars!!!! And since we have learned that J.J. Abrams claim of no new trailers a couple months ago only pertained to American trailers, here is an international trailer that features a significant amount of new footage for you to digest

This latest trailer, one of well over a baker’s dozen if you count TV spots, gives us a bit more time with Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and in the Millennium Falcon, as well as a slightly more clear sense of how the latest tale will begin. I won’t go into any more detail, as I’m aware of how quickly spoiler alarms can be set off for fans of this particular franchise. To share my own opinion on this, I don’t think the trailer shares anything particularly explosive in terms of the narrative trajectory or big reveals.
