New Poster for HANNIBAL Teases the Bizarreness NBC Has In Store for Us.

hannibal-season-2-poster-sliceLast year NBC hit it big with the straight-to-series order for a Hannibal Lecter TV show from Pushing Daisies creator Bryan Fuller, and the result was 13 episodes of weirdness, oddities, and TV gold. Fuller’s Hannibal was a taste of what network television could be in a cable world.  It was a good start to the series, and in anticipation of the upcoming second season, Fuller has unveiled a very creepy teaser poster that hints at a decidedly different Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) from season one.

The 13-episode second season of Hannibal will kick off sometime early next year.

Speaking with EW, Fuller revealed that he designed this poster himself along with the show’s special effects team, and he briefly commented on the new season:

“After a horrifying descent into madness in season 1, this image ironically represents the perspective of a scrappier, clearer-minded Will Graham in season 2.  The scales have fallen from his eyes and he finally sees Hannibal Lecter for the monster he is.”
