The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Precious Cargo

Microsoft released a new gameplay video for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, an open-world RPG developed by CD Projekt RED coming soon to Xbox One, PS4 and PC. In this video we get a look at how players can accept and track side quests whilst out exploring the countryside. Watch as Geralt helps a merchant retrieve a mysterious box from the swamp, but quickly discovers foul play. Oh that Geralt is a clever one I do declare.

I’m sure most of you know by now the game will be running at 900p/30fps and 1080p/30fps on the Xbox One and PS4 respectively. However, it’s worth noting this gameplay video was captured on a PC. While some will argue the difference between 900p and 1080p resolution, I’d rather spend my time playing and enjoying the game… on my PS4. Muhahaha

Be sure to check out a behind-the-scenes look at Charles Dance (Game of Thrones, Dracula Untold) in the recording studio for the role of Emhyr var Emreis, the ruthless Emperor of Nilfgaard. You might be surprised to hear Witcher 3 is the actor’s first crack at lending his voice in a video game. Hopefully it’s not the last.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 19, 2015.
