Netflix Bringing Back Hemlock Grove For Second Season

Original content is a great idea in theory. Unless that content is Hemlock Grove then it should buried deep deep underground and never given a second thought.

Okay, now that I have gotten that out of my system I can continue with the news. Though I did not enjoy the first season, the second season does have one advantage. Showrunner Charles H. Elge (Dexter, The Shield, and The Walking Dead) will joining the series as executive producer. Not that producers usually apply much to the creative force but maybe he can threaten taking away money if he notices the lameness is oozing out again. Oh and for all of you Eli Roth fans, don’t worry he is still on as an executive producer. See what he has to see on the second season after the jump!

Hemlock Grove

Eli Roth:

Netflix members loved the potent combination of sexy monsters, mystery, and the dark family soap opera that ended with a huge twist, leaving audiences worldwide totally shocked. Season One was just a warm up for what we have in store for season two. Get ready to be scared in ways you never expected.

I’m not sure who loved this, maybe I missed something. Whatever the case, season 2 will premiere in 2014 and keep the original cast. What do you guys think? Did you like it? Am I being too harsh or did it leave a bad taste in your mouth too? Leave a comment below!
