Mortal Kombat X

Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios officially announced Mortal Kombat X will be available on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC in 2015. We knew this announcement was coming soon after Ed Boon, creative director at NetherRealm Studios had taken to Reddit and Twitter posting little teasers to get fans excited. Now the wait is finally over!

About The Game:

Fueled by next-gen technology, Mortal Kombat X combines unparalleled, cinematic presentation with all new gameplay to deliver the most brutal Kombat experience ever. For the first time ever, Mortal Kombat X gives players the ability to choose from multiple variations of each character impacting both strategy and fighting style. And with a new fully-connected gameplay experience, players are launched into a persistent online contest where every fight matters in a global battle for supremacy.

The 2011 Mortal Kombat reboot left Earth-Realm in chaos. Shao Kahn broke the rules of the tournament and merged Outworld with Earth-Realm and killed many of Earth’s greatest warriors in the process. By the time Raiden was able to put a stop to the murderous emperor, I’m pretty sure only Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade were left standing–oh the humanity! Of course it wouldn’t be Mortal Kombat if there wasn’t a little twist at the end, which saw Quan Chi working with Shinnok, who plans on ruling all realms.
