Steam users can finally play Big Boss’ latest adventure Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. Konami released MGSV:GZ to the PC population today with the ability to view the game in 4K resolution. This is the first game in the Metal Gear Solid franchise with 4K support. That eye patch has never looked so good!

Of course, you need a PC that can sustain a 4K signal but if you do, you can enjoy, “…an increase in the number of simultaneous light sources, the number of models that can be displayed on-screen and increased shadow resolution,” according to a press release sent by Konami. You can purchase this Hideo Kojima directed product for $19.99.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is the prologue to the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, set to be released sometime in 2015. MGSV:GZ lets the user play as Big Boss in 1974 during a rescue mission. The game made headlines for its short campaign (some able to beat it in fifteen minutes) but offers replayability through various side missions.

MGSV:GZ also features the new “FOX Engine,” which provides realistic movements and visuals in addition to an AI that learns and adapts to the strategies of the player. You can check out a full review on the game and how it plays by Victor Chaves here.
