Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain Gets Release Date

Today Konami finally announced Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be available for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 on September 1, 2015. Those of you looking to play on your PC will have to wait until September 15 to get Snake’s bionic arm dirty. Along with today’s announcement came multiple versions of the game including a Day 1 Edition for $60 and a super mega Collector’s Edition loaded with physical goodies for a very reasonable $100 price point.

Metal Gear Online will go live the same day Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain gets released. The multiplayer mode will focus on tactical team operations and features a character-class system that will set players apart on the battlefield. Additionally, Venom Snake and Revolver Ocelot will make an appearance so be on the look out for those crazy bastards.
