Metal Gear Online

KONAMI unveiled the world premiere trailer for Metal Gear Online during the Game Awards held last Friday in Las Vegas. The 4-minute video gives players a tiny peek at the madness that awaits in 2015. Metal Gear Online will focus on tactical team operations and features a character-class system that will set players apart on the battlefield. Additionally, Venom Snake and Revolver Ocelot will make an appearance in the online multiplayer game mode.

It’s worth noting Metal Gear Online will be available to anyone who purchases Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain at no additional cost. The long awaited sequel will be powered by the Fox Engine, which we got a taste of in Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, the brief prologue to The Phantom Pain. Check out our review for Ground Zeroes, where Victor gave the game a Legacy Score of 8.3, calling it a glorified demo, but one he was glad to pay for.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be available on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, and Xbox 360 sometime in 2015.
