Mario Maker 30th Anniversary

Today Nintendo President Satoru Iwata revealed Mario Maker for Wii U will launch in September just in time to celebrate Mario’s 30th anniversary. The game allows players to design and share levels using four different graphic styles including the original Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, and New Super Mario Bros.

Mario Maker was first announced last year during E3 2014 and can’t come soon enough. We at Geek Legacy are dying to get our hands on this game to punish one another with insanely difficult levels.

Be sure to check out our other coverage from today’s Nintendo Direct which includes Amiibo Tap, a free app that allows gamers to tap any Amiibo to their GamePad to play demos from NES and Super NES games. Other Amiibo news includes the next three waves of Super Smash Bros. series Amiibo, Yarn Yoshi, and Amiibo Cards.
