Wii U Mario Kart 8 Bundle

Nintendo announced today that Mario Kart 8 will now be bundled with the Wii U console. The game will come pre-installed and includes a Nintendo eShop card to download both DLC packs. This delightful $300 bundle is available now for your purchasing pleasure.

Last year Nintendo released DLC Pack 1 which includes three characters (Link, Tanooki Mario, and Cat Peach) four karts, and eight courses. Earlier this Spring DLC Pack 2 was released which nets you three new characters (Villager, Isabelle, and Dry Bowser) four vehicles, and eight courses spread out across two cups.

I can’t think of a better time than now to pick up a Wii U. It’s true Nintendo lacks third party support, but who needs it when they have killer franchises like Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Super Smash Bros., Splatoon, and Starfox. Let’s not forget Super Mario Maker launches this week and we can’t wait to get our geeky hands all over this beast.
