“Who’s me? Who the hell are you?”

Loudout: Going in Hot

Loadout, the wacky third-person shooter from Edge of Reality comes to life in Loadout: Going in Hot by Wayside Creations. The live-action short premiered on Machinima yesterday and is directed by Vincent Talenti and stars Richard Hatch (Battlestar Galactica) as Captain Gaz. He and his crew are on a mission to score a massive payload before his nemesis arrives on the scene. The threat of danger lurks in every corner including their own cargo bay.

Loadout: Going in Hot does a pretty awesome job of capturing the game’s outrageous tone. Anyone that has ever played Loadout or even watched a trailer knows it’s all about the guns, and the wacky mayhem that ensues whilst firing said guns. Loadout: Going in Hot paints a perfect picture of the weapon crafting system with the use of a variety of spare parts to make the ultimate weapon.

Richard Hatch is always a badass in every role he plays. We had the pleasure of speaking with him at the 2013 Geekie Awards and Geek Legacy’s own David Edmundson challenged Richard to a thumb wrestling match. You can watch the interview and thumb brawler here.

Watch the short, play the game, and tell your friends to do the same. In fact, just this week Loadout launched on the PS4 as free-to-play, so get a move on it. Those of you that don’t have a PS4 can always download the game for free on Steam.
