Limited Edition Batman Arkham Knight PS4 Bundle

Posted on March 31, 2015 at 11:26 am by Stephen Janes

With every major game release Sony tries to up the ante by offering a PlayStation bundle to help new gamers get off the ground. Today, Sony has announced on their blog that in addition to a Batman: Arkham Knight PS4 bundle, there will also be a limited edition bundle featuring a beautiful silver PS4.

The bundle will run for $449.99 and will feature the limited edition “Steel Grey PS4 system chassis with a custom Batman: Arkham Knight faceplate…,” a controller to match the color scheme, as well as the game. Regardless of how you pick it up, Batman: Arkham Knight on the PS4 will also feature exclusive content like skins for Batman and new looks for the Batmobile.

Also announced was the standard edition bundle of the same game. Although it includes the basic jet black PS4 look, the standard edition will cost $399.99 and include the game and a controller as you would expect. Both editions, and the standalone game, will be available on June 23rd. The digital pre-order for Batman: Arkham Knight is also going live today on the PlayStation Store.

The silver PS4 looks stunning and almost compares to the all-white PS4 we saw when Destiny was announced. Limited edition consoles are great to look at but it’s worth noting that they are the same on the interior. It also should be noted that there is a Collector’s Edition which includes various goodies and collectibles depending on where you order it from. Batman: Arkham Knight has a lot of potential and is making gamers excited for the franchise again, after the last few installments have been a bit disappointing.

Here are a few more high-resolution images of the console if that’s your sort of thing. Batman: Arkham Knight is set to be released on June 23rd, although it has been delayed a few times in the past.
