Let Me See That Tootsie Err… Crunchyroll on Wii U

Posted on December 26, 2014 at 5:20 pm by Justin Cavender

Yesterday Nintendo announced Crunchyroll has made its way to the Wii U. The app allows viewers to watch more than 25,000 episodes and 15,000 hours of anime and other Asian content. Simply download the Crunchyroll App for free off the Nintendo eShop and you’ll be well on your way to streaming yourself to sleep with your favorite anime series.

Crunchyroll does offer free services to stream limited anime, manga, and drama titles in standard definition. However, if you opt in for a monthly subscription ($6.95), you’ll have access to all of their anime titles in 1080p without video ads. Take a look at their comparison chart to figure you which model best suits your budget. It’s worth noting Crunchyroll is offering a free 14-day Premium trial membership for your viewing pleasure. Go ahead and give it a whirl.
