Kevin Smith Unveils Trailer for THE DIRTIES at Comic Con

Yesterday we posted an interview with Matthew Johnson and Kevin Smith, Johnson directed the daring film The Dirties, and today we have a new trailer for you.  The film has a unique spin on the” found footage” style of film making by showcasing two best friends who are filming a comedy about getting revenge on the bullies at their high school, but one of them isn’t joking.  Johnson is aided in the distribution end by film legend Smith, under his “Kevin Smith Film Club” label.  Smith could not say enough great things about the film, and judging from the reaction it is getting, this is a great film.  It won the Best Narrative Feature and Filmmaker Choice Award at this year’s Slamdance Film Festival, and should open later this year.  The trailer gives a great look at the film, and gives you a glimpse at the troubles facing our teen duo.  For Johnson’s first film, this is a great sign of things to come.

The Dirties opens theatrically and On Demand on October 4th.
