Jessie’s February Fancy Box

Posted on March 28, 2013 at 6:23 pm by JESSIE

It’s that time of the month again. And no, I don’t mean Aunt Flow. I’m talking Fancy Box time!

For those of you who have no idea what I’m talking about, please take a look at my previous post for the lowdown on this fun-filled deal. Now, let the unveiling of the gifts begin…

Ice Fish, Cord Buddy, Stamp

1. On the Left: A Gamago Cold Fish Ice Cube Tray. Ha, very punny. I haven’t been able to try these out yet, since I own a refrigerator that just has an upper-flap as a sad excuse for a real freezer. But from the looks of the Amazon pictures, the resulting ice cubes look pretty intricately detailed and…cool. Har Har Har.

2. Middle: A Quirky Cordies Desktop Cable Management Accessory. Sweet jebus, that’s a mouthful. I actually have been using this and it’s pretty useful. Not a lifesaver or anything, but pretty useful. It doesn’t really save as much space as it’s intended to, I think, but it does reduce a number of annoying cord-tangling instances.

3. On the Right: A Suck UK “Homemade” Cookie Stamp Stamper. As a baking geek, this is awesome. The novelty of it is awesome. The wooden stamp feel of it is awesome. And even the name of the company is awesome. I mean, how does one even conceive of “Suck UK” as a brand name, and moreover, how does one even manage to turn that name into a successful company?!

iHome Speaker

Alriiiiight, an iHome Rechargeable Mini Speaker. Relative to the size of the speaker, this baby’s got some substantial power! Don’t expect it to fuel a party or anything, but this unit serves as a great desk speaker.

Infinity Scarf 2

And finally, a brown infinity scarf! There’s no brand name tag or anything so all I can really tell you about this product is that it was made in China. It’s a nice color though, and a great alternative to a regular scarf.

My thoughts on this month’s Fancy Box? I prefer the one I received in January over this one, but this isn’t based on the quality of the products I received. My opinion is more based on the practicality of the two boxes. I’ve been using the earphones and deep tea diver from last month’s box regularly since I received them. I don’t know if I can say the same for anything in this month’s box, except maybe the Cordie. Perhaps it’s all in the luck of the draw.
