Earlier today the possibility of an X-Force movie set up at 20th Century Fox was leaked. Creator Rob Liefeld issued a statement saying the project is in early planning stages and has been in the works since March of this year. Now it looks as if Jeff Wadlow (Kick-Ass 2) has been tapped to pen the X-Force script with a possibility of directing the film as well. Fox is expected to announce more about the X-Force film next week at Comic-Con, capitalizing on the excitement over Bryan Singer’s upcoming sequel X-Men: Days of Future Past. An X-Force film (and probable franchise) would expand the “X” universe and provide an entry for Cable and Deadpool among others. Stay tuned to Geek Legacy for extensive Comic Con coverage next weekend. The nice folks at Heat Vision broke the news on Wadlow’s attachment to the X-Force project.
