Is Dr. No coming back to the theaters.. In 3D?

Skyfall’s current worldwide gross is $1.1 billion, and still counting. So it’s clear that James Bond is still a big deal, and it appears that the first Bond film might be getting the 3D treatment. A Taiwanese Blu-ray re-issue of Dr. No apparently includes a 3D conversion of the film, and the team over at Bleeding Cool have discovered that Moviefone currently has a listing for an IMAX 3D release of Dr. No. Though no official confirmation has been made, it certainly appears that plans could be in place for a re-release of the classic Bond film.

I understand wanting to release the original Bond film, especially coming off the 50th anniversary. For my money though, I’d rather see Goldfinger or Thunderball… Them again I’m not a fan of the 3D fad or re-releasing old films that way so they’ll make the same off me regardless of which one they release.
