IDW Highlights for 9/23/15

Here’s a look at a couple of titles that IDW wants to make sure you don’t miss! Check them out below!

Several past Disney comics have shown Donald Duck as a superhero, but we’ve never learned just how he got his powers… apart from a single brief flashback and an apocryphal Disney Adventures story. With Donald Duck #5, IDW sets the record straight: the true, new-to-USA origin of “The Diabolical Duck Avenger” is here at last! As rendered by the great Italian writer/artist team of Guido Martina and Giovan Battista Carpi, this first 1969 super-Donald gets super to get even, fighting back against Uncle Scrooge and Cousin Gladstone after years of disrespect! All this and a famous gentleman thief called Fantomallard, too… join us for a wild scoop of deepest Duck lore.

Casey and April’s quest into the desert ends and a mysterious new entity will provide answers both cryptic and alarming! Will the two make it back to NYC intact? Acclaimed writer Mariko Tamaki and artist Irene Koh conclude this special mini-series!
