Gone Home, the indie-adventure game from The Fullbright Company, is currently listed as a flash sale on the Humble Store for only $5. At the time of this post, there is still over five hours left to get your geeky gaming hands on this delightfully simple title. Gone Home encourages players to explore at their own pace. You won’t be slaying evil monsters or solving puzzles before you can move onto the next area. Instead, you’ll examine objects to piece the story together, and hopefully this provide you with a unique gaming experience. Watch the trailer and see what $5 will get you.

Game Description on Steam

June 7th, 1995. 1:15 AM

You arrive home after a year abroad. You expect your family to greet you, but the house is empty. Something’s not right. Where is everyone? And what’s happened here? Unravel the mystery for yourself in Gone Home, a story exploration game from The Fullbright Company.

Gone Home is an interactive exploration simulator. Interrogate every detail of a seemingly normal house to discover the story of the people who live there. Open any drawer and door. Pick up objects and examine them to discover clues. Uncover the events of one family’s lives by investigating what they’ve left behind.

Go Home Again.

Other games featured today during Humble’s Spring Sale include Total War: Rome II ($29.97), Red Faction Collection ($14.99), Strike Suit Zero ($3.99) and Halo: Spartan Assault ($2.49). With the exception of Gone Home, there’s really nothing all that exciting on sale today, but it’s worth checking out anyway. Remember, new deals are listed each day at 10 AM PST now through May 21.
