Harrison Ford Injured in a Plane Crash

Posted on March 5, 2015 at 4:20 pm by David "Snackbar" Edmundson

Legendary Actor Harrison Ford suffered gashes to the head after a small plane he was piloting crash landed at an L.A. golf course.

TMZ reported that Ford, 72, was piloting what appeared to be a vintage 2-seater plane when something went wrong and the plane crashed into Penmar golf course in Venice, California. Ford reportedly suffered multiple gashes to the head and was bleeding when two nearby doctors at the  golf course rushed over to treat the actor.

Of course Ford is famous the world over for his iconic portrayal of Indiana Jones and Han Solo. The latter of which he is set to reprise in Star Wars: The Force Awakens this December.

We will provide more on the story as it develops, but wanted to get the word out right away.

[UPDATE] Variety says Ford is in “critical condition,” but walked away from the crash.

“There was blood all over his face,” Howard Tabe, an employee at the Penmar Golf Course, told NBC News. “Two very fine doctors were treating him, taking good care of him. I helped put a blanket under his hip.”
