As the ramp up to the November 11th release of Halo: The Master Chief Collection comes ever so closer and with only two weeks to go, 343 Industries has unveiled Blur Studios’ upcoming work as part of Halo 2: Anniversary. We caught a glimpse of their craft earlier this year at E3 when the Collection as well as Halo 5: Guardians was showcased in a single trailer recreating the famous E3 2003 announcement trailer of Halo 2.

This isn’t their first outing in Halo as they also contributed to the 2009 real-time strategy game, Halo Wars. Additionally any trailer you may have seen that featured Blur’s lifelike CGI signature artstyle includes a plethora of examples including Star Wars: The Old Republic, Batman: Arkham City, Bioshock: Infinite, Mass Effect 2 and more! Curiously,¬†Axis Animation was not contracted to do the cutscene work this time even with their history of creating some of the cutscenes in Halo 4 and all of the cutscenes in Spartan Ops. So without further ado, I’ll let both the trailer do the talking:

See Blur’s final work of nearly an hour’s worth of cutscenes in the Master Chief Collection which includes the bookended Prologue and Epilogue which will tie in the collection into next year’s Guardians. Geek Legacy will deliver the latest on Halo, so keep it right here!
