Hall of Heroes – The World’s Only Superhero & Comic Book Museum!

Posted on July 10, 2014 at 6:23 am by Heather Antos

When I decided to travel the Midwest for my Fourth of July weekend I expected to spend it roasting marshmallows over bonfires with friends as we watched fireworks dance across the night’s sky. And while I wasn’t wrong, what I didn’t expect was to stumble upon the Hall of Heroes, the world’s only superhero and comic book museum!

HallofHeroes

Located in the rural neighborhoods of Elkhart, Indiana, what started out as one man’s assortment of comic book culture has grown into the biggest collection of all things Superhero known to man. The Hall of Heroes boldly holds the largest comic book collection on the planet (60,000 plus, and grows every week!), a vast assortment of superhero toys and action figures, as well as some very impressive TV and Movie collectibles. Here’s a sample of what I found:

Tony Stark's battery as seen in "Iron Man 2" & Chris Evan's shield from "Captain America: The First Avenger"
