GameStop Has A Wii U Waiting List

Posted on September 21, 2012 at 12:55 pm by Justin Cavender

GameStop quit taking pre-orders for the Wii U shortly after the launch date was announced. However, PowerUp Rewards members can now sign up for the waiting list at no cost.

“Demand for Wii U has been off the charts and we know many of our PowerUp Rewards members are anxious to get their hands on one,” said GameStop president Tony Bartel. “We’re happy to offer our customers this exclusive opportunity to join the wait list for this must-have item.”

PowerUp Rewards members can visit any U.S. GameStop store to join the Wii U wait list (limit two per household). Once on the list, customers will be notified when a Wii U is available for purchase and will have 48 hours to respond. There is no deposit required to join the wait list and enrolling does not guarantee a Wii U on or by a specified date or at a specific price.

So if you want to get your hands on a Wii U and didn’t jump on your pre-order, now is your chance.
