“Five Ghosts” Sells Out Day One

Posted on March 21, 2013 at 5:42 am by Tyler Waterman

Well, it looks like Image Comics has done it again! Five Ghosts: The Haunting of Fabian Gray has sold out nationwide on the same day of its release, and is going back to press for a second printing. The second printing will be available on shelves April 17th, the same day that issue two of the five-part series releases as well.

Image has a history of debuting fresh and original titles that achieve both critical and financial success, such as Saga and Morning Glories. Five Ghosts, from Frank Barbiere and Chris Mooneyham, follows the exploits of a treasure hunter who’s both haunted and powered by five ghosts of literary archetypes; Wizard, Archer, Detective, Samurai and Vampire. Using the abilities he gains from these ghosts, Gray now fights to save his twin sister, who he lost at the same time.

If you missed out on the first printing, be sure to be at your local comic shop on April 17th to catch the second run!
