The summer movie season is about to begin, and as outlets begin their big “Summer Preview” issues, we’re starting to get a first look at some upcoming films like New Line Cinema’s Vacation reboot.

Vacation marks the directorial debut of Horrible Bosses scribes John Francis Daleyand Jonathan Goldstein and stars Ed Helms as a grown up Rusty Griswold, who opts to take his own family on a vacation that goes horribly wrong. Christina Applegate plays Rusty’s wife, Leslie Mann is his sister Audrey, and Chris Hemsworth plays Audrey’s up-and-coming anchorman husband, marking the Thoractor’s first big foray into comedy. Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo also make cameos reprising their roles as the elder Griswolds, as you can see in this first image from USA Today. Daley and Goldstein have a solid track record as writers (Cloudy 2 was a lot of fun, and I think Incredible Burt Wonderstone has some really great/dark moments), so I’m looking forward to seeing how they fare behind the camera. The film opens in theaters July 31st.
